Some of My Favorite Bible Verses

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding.

Acknowledge him in everything you do and he will direct your path.

I will instruct you in the way you should go;

I will counsel you and watch over you.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,

He leadeth me beside the still waters, he restoreth my soul. He leadeth me  in the paths of righteousness for his name sake.

Yea, though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, i will fear no evil for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely, goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the lord for ever.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Jesus Christ.

Be not anxious what you will eat ... nor what you will wear ... for your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first his kingdom and all these things will be given to you as well.

"Fear not little lambs, for it is your Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom."

Trust in him at all times, O people, pour out your hearts to him , for God is our refuge.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.

He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

What then shall we say in response to this?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Do not be anxious about anything,

but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

He will be the sure foundation for your times,

a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;

reverence for the Lord is the key to this treasure.

Submit to God and be at peace with him;

in this way prosperity will come to you.

What does the Lord require of you?

To act justly, and to love mercy

and to walk humbly with your God.

The heavens declare the glory of God;

the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.

The Lord delights in those who trust him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart!

I have overcome the world.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also." - Jesus Christ
