Gateway to the Heavens -Book structure Part I covers the literal and intuitive properties of the basic geometric shapes and numbers - the single Point, two linked points, the Circle, Square and properties of the Triangle. The individual personalities of each shape are explained using modern words and simple numeric patterns, in a way that highlights the features of reality they mould. Effectively these act to construct the stage and set the scene of the play in which life is acted out.
Point, Circle, Square and Triangle
Part II describes in words and numbers how in this process of construction other principles emerge that are fundamental to the animation and purpose of the
universe – the fertile properties of the geometric Spiral that sustains reality, the
Cross that highlights the Central point of existence and the Heart, where we weigh up our choices. These geometric principles direct the play, providing the story line and underlying purpose.
Spiral, Cross and Heart
Part III describes how we can make positive headway in our lives by studying and living in accordance with the universal archetypes of Sacred Geometry, and hence
our part in the natural order of ‘the play’. Ancient cultures developed models of the universe based on these simple foundations and the Sri Yantra, or Gateway to the Heavens, is used as one such illustration as it summarises them eloquently in the
visual language of geometry. Using such models, each moment in the day is transformed from being routine and material into a flowing adventure of personal discovery and ever-expanding awareness of reality.
